On October 17, 2014, a delegation from the Citizen’s Representative (K]Hurals (CRH) of Bayankhongor and Sukhbaatar Soums were hosted by the Kherlen Soum in Dornod Aimag.  The topic of discussion was, “Capacity Strengthening to Solve Problems related to Self-Governance”.  The purpose of the meeting was to share ideas, exchange experiences, discuss challenges and brainstorm solutions, with the overarching objective to discuss issues faced by local self-governing bodies and propose solutions.  

Throughout the discussion, experiences were exchanged between the CRHs.

• Speech by E.Dolgormaa, Chairman of  Bayankhongor soum’s CRH, “Providing opportunities for citizen participation for khural Decision making” 
• Speech by G.Naranbaatar, Chairman of Sukhbatar soum’s CRH, “Enhancing representatives and soum’s CRH activity” 
• Speech by P.Munkhtur, Mayor of Choibalsan city, “Choibalsan development policy and future building”
• Speech by B.Batbayar, Chairman of Kherlen soum’s CRH, “Improving citizen’s participation and stabilizing bag’s CRH activities” 

In addition to these speeches, delegates discussed the development and urban landscaping of Choibalsan city and as well the Citizens’ Hall.
